BHT Solutions recently hosted our very own Coding Day on October 27, 2023, to bring our team together in a shared pursuit of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
A Warm Welcome: The day commenced at 9:00 AM with a heartfelt welcome to all participants who were brimming with enthusiasm and excitement. This set the tone for what was to be a day filled with engaging discussions, practical learning, and fun!
Exploring Docker and Containers: The first session of the day was spearheaded by our talented colleague Leon Schönhoff from Münster. In his first visit to Cluj-Napoca, Leon took the stage to unpack the complex world of Docker and Containers. In today’s landscape where virtualization and containerization are becoming the norm, this session was both timely and pertinent. Leon’s insightful presentation illuminated the significance of Docker and detailed how it revolutionizes the way we develop, deliver, and manage applications.
Hands-On Group Work: Following the insightful Docker session, participants broke into two groups for intensive, hands-on group work. Group 1 continued to explore the intricacies of Docker, while Group 2 dove headfirst into the fascinating world of JavaScript. These sessions were meticulously crafted to provide participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in practical application of their newly acquired knowledge. They rolled up their sleeves, engaged in thoughtful discussion, and collaborated with their peers, all of which contributed to a rewarding and enriching experience.
Lunch and Continued Learning: A hearty lunch provided the much-needed fuel for the mind and body, as participants geared up for more group work in the afternoon. The post-lunch sessions allowed them to dive even deeper into Docker and JavaScript, building upon the foundational knowledge from the morning sessions. They also had the chance to address any questions or challenges they had encountered along the way.
