System Administrator
Your responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server (2016+) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
- Manage complex Active Directory (AD) environments (approx. 250,000 users, 1,000 domains)
- Design and implement AD-related solutions across operations and projects
- Support virtualization with Hyper-V and Microsoft Cluster infrastructures
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools
- Optimize system performance, availability and security
- Allign with ITIL practices and contribute to system management processes
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams on operations and incidents
Your qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivelent professional experience
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016+) and virtualized environments
- Experience with Red Hat Linux administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for scripting and automation
- Experience with Hyper-V and clustering technologies
- Understanding of system management and ITIL-based processes
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
