Linux Administrator
Your responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux systems, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Support the automation of recurring operational processes using scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Automic)
- Ensure system performance and availability through proactive monitoring and optimization
- Apply ITIL best practices to system management and process automation
- Participate in the planning and execution of system updates, patches, and configurations
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a structured and timely manner
Your qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar qualification with relevant professional experience
- Strong experience with Red Hat Linux and Linux system administration
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and automation tools
- Understanding of the automation of operational processes and experience applying these in production environments
- Good knowledge of system management practices and ITIL processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical, analytical approach
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
